In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Los Angeles; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Broadway Cuisine at (213) 265-7140; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is broadwaycuisinels.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 324 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese restaurants in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Absolutely loved the food (not spicy at all) and the portions, I think, were really good for their prices. I loved the hot tea and I think their Thai tea was great and not too sweet, just perfect in my opinion. Thought the entrees came with rice when asked if we wanted some, didn't know that it was extra but it's still fine, just an FYI. Would go again!

My fiancΓ©e insisted on bringing me here (I'm from out of town). The service was absolutely INCREDIBLE (shout out to Lisa!), the menu was big, the food arrived within MINUTES, and each one was, EASILY, the best we've ever had of that dish. The pork dumpling in red oil and the shrimp in garlic sauce nearly made me cry. Even my vegan fiancΓ©e was able to stuff herself, with veggie fried rice (no egg) and the eggplant in spicy garlic sauce. Seriously. If I could give this place six stars, I would.

When you first walk in, you see a big open space and many tables all around. The food came pretty fast was surprisingly hot and presentable. All of the food was really delicious and the waiters were very friendly and nice. Overall, we had a really good dinner! You should check it out!

*Can you believe they got my order wrong and it was still amazing.* I order something completely different and Im not sure how I ended up with this order. Maybe I should have listened closer when she repeated back my order. Although my order ended up being really good. At first I was upset about the wrong order and decided to make the best of it and give it a try. Man let me tell you that’s some of the best fried rice I have ever had. The egg foo young was good and the gravy was probably the best I’ve had. The staff here are super quick and very friendly. Soon as I walked in they instantly tried to sit me at a table. I do feel kind of bad for the people that probably got my order because I’m sure they probably had go back and get their order corrected. Besides that I’m glad they messed up my order. I wish they would have made a mistake and tossed in some egg rolls!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I would highly suggest stopping by and giving this place a try. Just check your bag before you leave.
